An original design by Madras Finds, the Hansa Dessert Bowl Set brings together a pair of bowls and accompanying spoons, each carrying a distinct composition across sun, moon and hansa, creating a dialogue across the set rather than within a single object.
The Process
The choice of material was as deliberate as the motifs themselves. Crafted in kansa, an alloy of copper and tin, the bowls possess a warmth and depth often mistaken for brass, yet entirely their own. Much heavier in hand and softer in lustre, kansa has been valued for centuries for its durability and enduring material character.
Designed for desserts, sweets and shared servings, the set celebrates a part of hosting that is often overlooked—the moments that follow the meal itself. Objects intended not only to serve, but to remain on the table a little longer, becoming part of the conversations and occasions that continue around them.
